Funding

Students are guaranteed full funding for the duration of their stay in the PhD program. Funding originate from the Institution, from NIH-training grants, and from research grants.

Students are also encouraged to apply for individual fellowships – popular fellowship programs include: NSF, NIH (F31/NRSA), AHA. Formal and informal training is provided to assist students with preparing applications.
